Hog hunting near Charlotte, Texas..
  Mr. Rick Hair and Mr. Doug Cooper invited the VA to come out to their place and harvest some wild hogs. We guided 3 veterans from the Air Force's 19th Special Forces out in the hunt. For one it was his first hog hunt and for the others, well, beginners luck came into play. Pictured from L-R are SMSgt Michael Wisher, VOA Director Brian Culp, Major select Capt. Johnny Beurer and SMSgt Jay Ekis. Check back soon to see if you can pick out the "rookie" and the two that will have to try again sometimes. Maybe even the photos will tell. After the hunt McBee's Bar-B-Que in Jourdanton, TX.  treated the entire group to a donated meal. Thanks to McBee's for supporting the VOA and it's mission, "Operation Giving Back".

 Hunting on the Laguna Vista Ranch..
 Mr. Jed Knowlton, owner and ranch manager (2nd from left) of the Laguna Vista Ranch Northwest of Pearsall, TX contacted the VOA and invited us to bring down 3 deserving veterans to spend the night & harvest 3 axis does from his herd. The invitation was greatly appreciated and accepted. The hunt took place on March 17, 2007. VOA guest pictured from L-R are Army SSG. Brad Alexander, Army SPC.
